Olympic Champions goes with a Boarding School

Eric Liddell, the first Scot to win Olympic Gold in track, was setting the new world record of 47.6 seconds on a 400-meter race, who ever first manifest his eagerness to excel with a Boarding School.
When Eric was a four-year-old boy, his father sent him to a boarding school for son of missionaries in England, together with his brother. Inside the boarding School, the two was doing well apparently. Both boys go one better in rugby, cricket, and track. The best out of Eric is in Track field, setting the record in a Boarding School of 10.2 seconds in one hundred-meter dash.
Eric made Wyndham Halswelle, the first Scot who won Olympics Medal in track in a second place, as his great inspiration in life and work harder to excel and be the first Scot to win the Olympic gold in track.
Eric continued to be the best in the track field in the University of Edinburgh, as he appears, he was promptly put at the best light and called to be the fastest sprinter in Scotland and became a national hero.
His older brother had invited Eric to speak out at one of the rallies, since his brother was an active member in Christian college, aiming upon preaching out evangelistic word through out Scotland. The next morning, Eric was the headline of the newspaper, preaching evangelistic word, and it really touches his soul. The reason he became devoted upon sharing the gospel whoever would love to hear. This is the reason why, many would question out his commitment to running for he was so busy upon preaching.
In 1924, Olympics was held at Paris, where the only hope of England is at the Young Scot including Eric. He was assigned to do the 100 hundred-meter dashes, where he was known to be the best with. But the event was scheduled at Sunday, where Eric made a conviction upon self not to race at Sundays, and really refuses to do so. As a result, presses attack him without mercy.
Eric had been put at the two hundred meter races in which he was never been dominated. At the finals, where he was far from being the favorite one, before it started the team masseur handed him a small folded piece of paper. It read ” He that Honors me I will honor”. For him, that’s one of the reason why he won despite of all the trials have made.
